Frequently when hand rolling, especially on large, contoured surfaces, small voids are created where resin does not adequately penetrate a sandwich core or heavy reinforcement. These voids can result in de-lamination and a variety of structural failures. Air powered vibration rollers reduce this risk by forcing the resin into the core material. Operating at 12,500 cycles per minute, this roller reduces the risk of separation and also increases the structural integrity of the part. Additionally, these vibrations generate molecular friction in resin or bonding agents, creating heat and significantly reducing bonding time.
